Ndabaga, a young Rwandese woman in the 1700s, disguises herself as a male soldier to fulfill her dying mother’s wish. Despite initial skepticism from her fellow soldiers, Ndabaga gains their respect through hard work and dedication. During a battle, she uses her knowledge of the terrain and quick thinking to turn the tide of the war. She is eventually revealed as a woman and imprisoned, but her sacrifice and bravery inspire others, and she becomes a symbol of resistance and a role model for women across Rwanda.
